Possibly candles in vases at the ceremony ~ this picture depicts the type of vases I have in mind. I have several, they are a bit slimmer I think than the ones pictured here, but it's a good start.. Outdoors, we will have no seating unless needed for a select few guests.
The statue/steps area is inside a circle of trees, I need to get down there to see what they will look like this time of year, but I thought maybe just some simple ribbons hanging from the trees.
